ZEOCAT-3D is a research project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program, under the topic CE-NMBP-24-2018 “Catalytic transformation of hydrocarbons” of the call H2020-NMBP-ST-IND-2018-2020.
The aim of the project is the development of a bifunctional hierarchically structured zeolite based nano-catalyst using 3D-technology for direct conversion of methane into aromatic hydrocarbons via methane dehydroaromatization. The methodology of the project will go from laboratory to pilot scale demonstration in a real environment. Catalyst design and operation conditions will be optimized for different methane feedstock at lab-scale and then upscaling and construction of a final prototype will be carried out.
Proposes a successful alternative of production of benzene process with innovative properties versus traditional ones in terms of simplicity (direct conversion), high selectivity, regenerability and deactivation of catalyst, high efficiency, low cost and environmental sustainability.
We look for professionals interested in taking advantage of ZEOCAT-3D technology at industrial level. We look for researchers and professionals interested in exploring the possibilities of the project results for other types of industrial applications. Also, the joint organization of dissemination events seem a very efficient option to us. Let’s give us the opportunity to take the best advantage of the research effort, talking about our synergies.
